Money Isn’t the Goal, It’s a Tool: Why I’m Becoming a Life Coach
When I started Chandler Financial Coaching, my mission was simple: to help people gain control of their money so they could live with more peace and confidence. And I’ve seen it happen over and over!
It’s incredibly rewarding to watch people experience transformation when they finally feel confident and in control with their money. It’s almost like they start to think, “Wow, if I can be empowered with my money, what else can I empower myself to do?” It truly is amazing- success breeds success!
But over time, I started to notice something deeper. Sometimes what looked like a financial decision on the surface had something underneath it, something not directly related to money at all.
I wanted to go deeper to help clients uncover what was really keeping them stuck. To be honest, I realized I needed some more tools in my toolbox to help clients get to the root of those deeper thoughts that were impacting their lives and finances.
I also didn’t want to speak into those personal areas with my own advice or experience because my clients’ lives are different from mine. I want them to be empowered through self-discovery, because I truly believe that’s what makes real change last.
That’s what led me to take the next step in my own growth: becoming a Certified Professional Coach through iPEC!
And just like with my financial coach training, guess who’s receiving the biggest transformation? Me! 😊
At first, I only signed up for one part of the program, but the personal growth I experienced was too good to stop there. So now I’m fully on my way to becoming a Certified Professional Coach!
The training is intense (of course I picked the hardest program out there!), but I’m learning so much and can’t wait to share it. My final exam is in February, and then I’ll officially have those coveted letters after my name. 🎉
Right now, I’m continuing to work with financial coaching clients and weaving in the incredible concepts I’m learning through my certification.
I’m also offering free life coaching sessions as part of my program requirements. I’ll write a separate post soon explaining what life coaching is and what to expect in a session with me, so stay tuned for that!
In the meantime, I’ll be sharing more about what I’m learning, the insights I’m gaining through training, and probably some personal reflections too.
So come back often- I’m excited to take you along on this journey!
